  Always warm and welcoming. An amazing selection of ales, gins and Whiskys and the staff are knowledgeable and can be very helpful in pulling out the right drink for you. The redone beer garden is also amazing, when we can get the weather for it!

  Excellent real ale pub of the highest order. Fantastic selection of hand pulled ales, craft keg beers, whiskies and gins. Good, varied snack options and friendly staff too, plus plenty of seating. Top watering hole.

  Best pub in the known universe! The bar staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about beer. The artwork is extremely quirky and the beer garden is great.

  Seriously, The Grove needs to be on every UK beer aficionado's top ten list of pubs to visit. A down-to-earth beer pub with a massive and eclectic choice of regular and changing beers, reasonably priced and all kept in absolutely tip-top condition. The owners and their staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable about beer. No juke box, no TVs, no pool table, no prepared food. Low key live traditional music for a couple of hours one or two evenings a week.
